Dan, thanks for posting this here! Dubie has came out with some great 9700 builds recently and there is no reason to think this one will be anything less than that! Enjoy!
Please be aware that Dubie fixed these errors and uploaded a new version of this hybrid. It should fix any java and/or clock errors that you were having.

I think I'll give this hybrid a shot when I get home tonight. I've been using 442/497 for a couple weeks now without any issues. Just need something new to play with. LOL.

I'm using this build now as well (.442/.497). No issues so far.... It's the only OS I've used (and there are many....) so far that actually goes from UMA--->EDGE--->3G when I'm leaving the house and not UMA--->SOS---> (wait 5 sec)--->3G.

I loaded this hybrid last night. I got the same java error and missing sharing COD file that I experienced with 442/497 (I couldn't launch the calendar so I had to manually install the COD through BBSAK). After that everything seems to work fine. It's interesting that in the About screen it says app version 484 and platform 121. I started with a fresh install of 442 and then installed this hybrid on top, so I'm interested to see what others experience. Everything is running smoothly and the browser is pretty fast. I did experience a random reboot while leaving for work this morning, but I'm not sure what caused it. Overall, my preliminary findings are that it's a fairly stable and "graceful" OS. I'll continue to use this unless I get more serious errors.

Same here. I got the initial java error. Added a .cod from .442 using BlackBerry Master Control Program for my calendar. Also noticed the app version listed as .484 (fresh .442 install as well). I went thru and noticed some .cod files from all four- .442/.484, .497, and.530. Matters not to me. It works. Browser is fast. So far, all is well.
I have been running the 442/421/484 and you don't need to load any files after and it is fast with no errors at all and plus I am on the second day with a lot of use and still 40% battery left!!
DId you have any errors when you installed it? how did you install it, if you could tell me...
I didn't install dubie's hybrid. On BBHybrids I found some kimi's hybrid that has fixed clock and calednar off the box so that I didn't have to play with coded. And this kimi's hybrid is amazing. No memory leaks and everything works like is shoud. Just sometimes (really rare) if gives me 2-3 sec no responses, but reason also can be in RIM's Twitter app...
