And, if you in a generous mood, could you possibly make a download manager app that, again, works through RIM servers, and breaks the file into RIM friendly chunks, reassembles those chunks onto my device, kinda like podtrapper, only difference I need, is if your app can have a pause/resume function on download fail scenario's, thanks again, ill pick this one up the following week.

An app that lets you sms more than 160 characters by splitting it into multiple txts with (1/3) (2/3) (3/3) etc that works in the default 5.0 threaded sms window without going to a seperate app, saves the sent messages in the thread and actually works perfectly on 5.0.
As the volume of iPhone apps is huge and getting bigger by the day, then the real killer app of the Blackberry would be something that allows you to port or run these on your BB.
My dream app, is one that would allow you to schedule times when you would NOT receive emails from my (work) email account. But send them all through during work hours. Currently, you have to log into BIS site and turn em off. I use my BlackBerry for work AND personal emails, and sometimes getting work emails when you're off can really ruin your weekends.
Perfection, would be to not miss any at all. As in, all messages que (not deleted) until the next scheduled time.
A much simpler app would be one that allows you to set the alarm "song" to shuffle. Currently, you have to choose one song only. If you could shuffle, you could actually use the alarm like a clock radio :-D
I purchased one app like this, but it turned out it had a 1 Meg size limitation. I don't have ANY songs that small :-P (in its defense, it was for ringtones)
