    hello i am deciding between a sidekick lx or a blackberry curve

    i was wondering do you need to connect to the internet to use aim on the curve

    You will need a data plan to connect to the internet on any Blackberry. Perhaps I am biased, but the Curve is far superior to the Sidekick. It does way more, and the screen real estate and graphics are second to none.

    the sidekick doesn't even com[are to the curve. TO me it not even in the same league.

    u can get im clients for the curve. if u are getting the curve to im only then get the sidekick, but the curve is an all around better phone.

    The Sidekick is horrible compared to the Curve, not even close to being in the same league.
