So since i've got to my S2 i have noticed that when typing in landscape mode, as opposed to words being highlighted as you are typing, full sentences are being highlighted and attempted to be auto-corrected. Has anyone else noticed this or have a fix?
I had .428 since it came out and never had this problem. I just upgraded to .451 and noticed it right away. Do you have .451........it has to be the problem.
I have had this with all OS' I've run on the Storm 2, even hybrids, and some on the Storm 1 too. It only happens to me every once in a while, but pisses me off each time. It seems the only way to stop it is leave what ever your doing and go back into it. I would love to hear a solution to this though.
I'm hoping for an answer too because it drives me nuts. I am 100% sure it only started for me personally with .451 because I would have remembered this BS fo sho.
no it's the whole sentense because when i stop typing, it actually highlights the whole sentense. it's not just one word. for example when i hit double space to put the period, it won't.
OOAK's right now. I'm gonna change it to Lyr's when I get home though I think. Yeah, something is wrong. It's really odd. Then the spell check won't work when that happens and there is some lag. It's just irritating more than anything.
here is a thought....dont use frakking hybrid. and you wonder why people complain when odd issues arise and are hard to troubleshoot.
It's not a hybrid only issue. I'm running .451 and I've had it happen.
It's RARE, and I haven't bothered trying to figure out what triggers it, but exiting the SMS program completely, and reloading it fixes it. One of a few annoying issues with the SMS program.
