Go to Profiles>Advanced>Normal (if that's what is set)>Phone>Ringtone>Check to make sure that the ringtone selected is a long ringtone and not an alert. If it is an alert then just click on it and scroll to a longer ringtone.

Advanced is at the very bottom of the profiles list. If you have OS 5.0 or above its called "edit profiles".

Your in the right place... You don't need to find "advanced". You need to click on 'classic ringer' and change it to a different ringtone. Find one that rings for longer.

I had the same problem some months ago. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but there's a forum on here somewhere that deals with this very issue....basically involves calling an ATT # inclusive of a code # 30 (as in a 30 second ringtone).
