So what do these do.. I was googling but I'm thoroughly confuzzled. Do they allow for free txting if you have unlimited data? Or what? WHat do they do.. I'm just an ***** and dont feel like being charged insane amounts of money for my texts while here in israel.
Do you get unlimited data in Israel? Basically it is a service that gets text messages through their interface but you can forward each text you get to your e-mail address through it and reply to the e-mail address it creates to text that person back. It's what I do to avoid paying $20 extra per month for unlimited texting or whatever on my grandfathered Alltel plan.
I got it to work. But now what do I do with calling.. is it still gonna charge me the 2.99 a minute or whatever to call, or since im using google voice it'll be fine?
I got a Google Voice Invite, Is the service FREE or are there hidden fees? Also, It has give me two options: One is to use my exsisting mobile phone number, the other is to get a new google voice number. What did you do? What are the disadvantages or advantages of each?
