Now these apps would be awesome, if RIM developed such an application unless someone here is capable of writing such an application.

That would be so awesome!! Until then I'll guess will have to facebook/myspace IM with the bunch of 3rd party apps out there that can already do it. IM+, BeeJive, Parlingo, etc

- IM+
- BeeJive
- Palringo (doesn't work with 5.0)
- Nimbuzz (doesn't work with 5.0.0.4xx)
- Instango (maybe?)

Apps with MySpace Chat:
- BeeJive


But yes, it would be nice to have a native IM client from RIM.
