just follow the sprint .484 if you want. I prefer the .419 myself it was faster than the .484. Download the OS you want and delete the vendor.xml because you are with VZW and boom, there you go. Both are stickies at the top of the Tour forums.
I recommend using BBSAK to first wipe your device before loading the new OS. In my 5.0 experience, this helps the Tour run much smoother. Also, BBSAk can do a backup of all your 3rd party apps.
Why am I having so much trouble with this? I've have upgarded OS's from other carriers before, but for some reason i can not get the sprint .484 to work on my VZW which i'm running .419 right now. I deleted the vendor xml file, then go to desktop manager, it does it's search thing, and nothing comes up! I might be missing something, or my phone may just be ********. I want to upgrade because ever since I upgraded to .419, my phone has been freezing and running a lot slower than the previous version .230. Do I need to wipe it first?
