I edited a couple of my contacts the other day and now they all have custom ringtones and alerts. I dont know how to remove them or reset them. All of my contacts show that they have a custom ringtone, but use the default tone I have set. I just want my edited contacts to have my default alerts and tones again. can someone please help?

Try going in through your address book and edit from there.

Try opening Profiles

Scroll down to Contact Alerts. Look & see if the contacts you edited have been added to Contact Alerts list. If so, & if you didn't add them there so they would have personalized rings, delete them from this list.

If I edit a contact in any way, it will add them to my Contact Alerts list causing that contact to have the default Classic Phone Ringer ringtone. Was so confusing until I finally figured out what was happening.
