Yeah but the real reason is The sfi file (Radio). its the only thing that makes a big difference

The S1 has fallen off the radar. The S2 isn't worth the upgrade. I have seriously soured on BB. If you're not on BES, you're low priority it seems.

The 9500 is the same exact hardware as 9530. Any OS compiled for the 9500 is made to work on the 9530 as well. For all intent and purpose, any OS compiled for the Tour will also work on the 9500/9530 series phones. The OS and Apps are identical for both platforms.
