    Hi all,

Anyone having issues with Google maps not being able to find your location?
It keep saying "Location temporarily unavailable". I have all permissions as "allow".

I've got GPS enabled, but I think Google maps should be able to pin point the nearest cell towers right? It worked on my old Pearl 8120.

Also, I'm using an unlocked Verizon 9550 and my carrier's Vodafone Australia. My option to disable GPS is E999 instead of E911...kinda weird.

Anyone having the same problem? Also, any other settings I need to check? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, resending service books, etc.

    Thanks.

Oh and also, I thought Storm has a version of google maps that I can hide the keyboard or turn to landscape to view full screen. I can't with this version (ver3.2.1)

Go to applications in the options menu and turn compatibility mode off with the bb key highlighting good maps.
