Berryweather 2.0 allows you to have current updates on your homescreen. It's a great app...well worth the ten bucks.

WeatherBug is free and will give you following current info on the Icon: current temp, hi/low. You can set the update as frequent as you want.

When you open the app it gives you a five day forecast, radar (not animated) and alerts.

since it's free, give it a go - if that doesn't do it for you, go for the paid version of this app or others like Berryweather.

I'm only a week into my storm and I am expermenting with apps. Since I'm a weather hound, I'll probably pony-up for a paid version of something

BerryWeather seems to be a popular one on this site.

    Good Luck

With BerryWeather, you will get what you pay for. If you don't need what it has, try some of the less expensive ones or the free ones.

I have the free BeWeather. It gives you an icon of the current weather as well as a well broken down forecast: The pay version activates the GPS location to give you the weather at your location rather than having to set your city.
