I went for the leaked software, it is very very good. I now appear not to be able to back up the device using the desktop manager even though it picks up I have version 5. Any help?

.464 is not that good. Go back to .411 and save yourself the headaches.

thanks for the advice but wots wrong with 464? No issues from me. How is 411 better?

Nothing's wrong with .464 that isn't wrong with .411 for the most part. I am fine on .464 as you are and I have no intention of going back to .411. If you can't backup with DM 5.0, either reinstall it or uninstall it and install DM 4.6 -- that will still do a backup for a BB running a 5.0 OS .

I'm liking .464 much better than .411, and I'm not having any trouble backing up. Maybe try updating your DM, as others have suggested.

thats what i like about this forum, the folks are great! I reinstalled DM and it updated OS 5 and then I backed up and all is well. I know I had the option of upgrading to 411 but xssd fingers so far the leak 464 is fine, no issues. Thanks one and all for the advice
