- So I tried yet again to see if I could get a similar answer from Sprint. I think their agents hate me....I'm usually nice but this guy's simple no irked me for some reason. Don't misinterpret...this does not me I think all agents are this way and no I'm not really going to switch to Verizon

IMO, any good news about a release coming to Sprint or VZW means that it is coming for the other, and should be looked at as good news for both. And I mean, at least some of the Sprint reps are willing to say check back soon when people ask for it, as opposed to the VZW tweets telling people to check out the Android phones Side note: the VZW testman page is still unavailable, maybe, just maybe it means something... I posted in a separate thread because, heretofore, every post with info from a rep was either denial by the rep or lack of knowledge. The rep I talked to not only confirmed that the phone existed and was on its way, but acknowledged I would be able to buy it this month. People have been asking for information not rumors or speculation. I was repeating information that Verizon is now giving the public. - I am sorry to add to the frustration of all us waiting for the T2 to drop. I am a user of the T1 and don't plan to upgrade at the current time. On the other hand, my father is using the BlackBerry Curve from Nextel which he claims is a "no G" phone due to it slow speeds and lack of a usable internet browser. He is loking to switch to Big Red and get the T2, he is waiting like all of you.
Today, my father went into the Verizon store in Boca Raton. Florida (Lyons Rd and Glades Blvd.) to try and get some information. He has been in the store so many times in the last month that the sales people are starting to know who he is. When he asked about the T2 the salesman told him that it was not out yet but instructed my dad to "Check back in a few weeks." My dad said "I have a better idea. Here is my business card, can you call me when you have any information." The sales person told him to check back with the store on February 16th and he would be happy to "join the Verizon family."
I know that I have not posted much on the boards but have been keeping abreast of the threads and thought that I would provide some insight for all of you to critique, etc.

The only update that I see is that VZW is offering free activation from 2/5 to 2/8, and I don't see them being kind enough to offer free activation on a brand new phone. This still should give those thinking a Super Bowl add and a Feb 10th release (Sal and SauceX/Travis) a little more time to hope.
