Just a quick question about how effective is BBM. If someone in Europe/Asia/Australia adds me, can we chat thru BBM?

Yes, and you will not be charged any internatonal charges because your not out of your own area.

BBM works fine ..I have a buddy who is in Dubai and we talk on BBM all the time. Just the only problem is the time difference ... Lol Dubai is 9hrs ahead of eastern time.

If I have a buddy from the States and h is traveling in Asia, are we still good to go? Both of our plans are from here in the States. I think we are, but just want to be sure before potentially drumming up some charges.

b51 you will not receive any long distance type charges

however I stress this to your friend
data roaming charges can become very expensive so unless he is going for work and they pay for his contract, or something of the sort, do not use the phone unless its an emergency
