The internet on my Tour is snappy but Facebook is so slow and glitchy its starting to annoy me. is there any other Facebook apps i can D-load other then the normal one?

Perhaps someone else can chime in here, but I believe an older version of FB is supposedly faster than the latest version.

Funny the OP posted this thread...i have .419 hybrid and man, this FB app its slow as molasses?* in the winter time. To 'update contacts' takes foreeevverrr...its annoyingg.

The facebook app really just sucks TBH. I just use the app for notifications and use mobile web FB to reply.

I was having this problem too, my internet was speedy as usual but facebook wasn't loading. I reinstalled it and it seems to be working fine now. The app def needs some work done. Good luck!

The Facebook app has been slow for me on all OS for my Tour. It has to be the app in general. Let's hope that in another build or 2 its faster, and that it has a few more functions are added making it closer to the mobile web version, altho in an app.

Agreed, FB app is sketchy. At times it works just fine. In general, though, it is slow and annoying.

FAcebook for blackberry is made by Blackbery where as facebook for iPhone is made by Facebook itself. Thats why it's so laggy on the berry but fast on the iPhone.

facebook on Blackberrys is extreamly bad. I love facebook but its one of my worst apps I have on the phone as for as funtion.

In order to go onto facebook I dont even bother with there app as I just log into the mobile site as its faster then there app.
