A friend of mine on Alltel / Verizon is currently having problems with his service in New Jersey. Can't hear people when they call, they are mumbling. Emails are delayed, not receiving texts.
He has a Blackberry and it's apparently not his phone but the service itself.
What's up with that?
It's been like that since yesterday with the wind, rain and all of that.
Sadly not, he's more of a "wait til it fixed itself" kinda guy then a "Let's call see what's wrong"

It's rare, but it can happen. There's nothing reported on VZW's side from what I can see in the NJ area so I doubt anything major is going on. I'd advise a batt pull and see if he resolves stuff. I know I've had people call in that have went through outage periods and need to either reset the phone or dial *228 for their service to "reconnect" but that's pretty rare. I'd just have him call in lol.
