Wednesday 1/27 seems to keep getting more and more exciting!
- So I just read Verizon told its people something big is going down tomorrow. Same day as Apple's big announcement or announcements. O man does this mean new iPhone on Verizon? Does this mean Apple tablet on Verizon? ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR does this really only mean Verizon has something to combat the new iPhone on AT&T?
Sound off ladies and gentlemen!01-26-10 11:45 AMLike 0 - Why would they announce the pricing when there have been commercials about it already. And there will definitely be an iPhone on Verizon one day, most definitely when the network switches over to LTE.
Apple knows they can't keep a sustainable business plan selling one phone on one service provider. They lose all the people that would buy an iPhone but will never switch to AT&T.01-26-10 11:51 AMLike 0 -

Obviously, Apple could still get those that are new to smartphones and those looking to switch, but at some point in time, that won't be enough. Apple wants to gain market share, not just sustain it. They will eventually open it up to other carriers to continue the iPhone's dominance. And remember it has only been roughly 2 1/2 years since the iPhone came out. I doubt 5 years from initial launch Apple would have imagined themselves on one carrier.01-26-10 02:15 PMLike 0

I think Gene Munster is batting .000 with Apple..lol.
Apple by no means has exhausted the AT&T consumer pool by a long shot. AT&T has 80+ million customers, how many are iPhone owners... not even 20 million. According to my math there are another potential 60 million to tap.
I say Jobs comes out with this.. 'Oh and another thing...the iPhone will now be available on another carrier'... people GASPS.. then he says 'T-MOBILE'. I will die laughing so hard at the poor poor Verizon Fanboys.. lmao.Last edited by Entertainment72; 01-26-10 at 03:02 PM.
01-26-10 02:57 PMLike 0 - There going to announce the itablet and it's going to operate on Verizon's network. In which you'll be paying $60 a month for data access. FAIL!
Why someone would pay $60 a month and be locked into one device is beyond me. Although Apple and Verizon do like things locked down.01-26-10 02:58 PMLike 0 - There going to announce the itablet and it's going to operate on Verizon's network.
