So since I migrated to my storm 2 Im going to sell my Curve 8330. I went to this site and they want to offer $60.00 for it. I have nothing to lose right? No damage on the unit just wanted something new.

Not sure if this is a trick or not? They mail me the prepaid envelope and packaging stuff I just send them the unit they mail me a check for $60.00 .. ??

I sold my curve 8330, Storm1 and Palm Centro (cashforsmartphones or something like that is the other site they have) to them and they honored whatever they quoted. Got a check in the mail a few days after they confirmed they received it and what the payment would be. I buy from Ebay but didn't have time to list it on there so for me, this was a quick way. They also send you a box with pre-paid usps postage so it's really easy if you are pressed for time.

Agreed - Thats the same as this place. They send all shipping labels. I know I could sell it for more on Ebay but **** $60 on the fly? Why not?

That's what I said and why I did it. If you don't like the quote they will also send your phone back free of charge.

It sounds like you might not want to do eBay but just a little FYI....I sold my 8330 on eBay about 3 months ago and got $175 for it.....and that was doing a one day auction. Got payment thru paypal and was in my checking acct 3 days later.

that is a total ripoff I was curious about this site. I have a new Tour no scratches it is perfect. I love it but I was just wondering what they thought it was worth 145.00 bucks I was really surprised and would never consider selling to them.
They offer way underneath the value as far as I am concerned.

I had another site only want to offer me 35.00 for an LG 8300 that was only 6 months old I sold it for 150 with all the accessories.

You can get a lot more for it if you are wise on where you choose to sell it

I'd do ebay. You'll get a lot more, it takes about 5 minute to list it and you can even use the pictures they have for that phone.

Now that is really low. My Palm Centro wasn't really worth anything, my old curve I got through a BOGO and I was tired of holding onto my Storm1 with people giving fake offers. Ebay would be my choice too but I didn't care about those phones and was in a rush to get rid of them. To answer the OP's original question, that site does give out money but it really depends on the seller and what they want for the phone.

they gave me $65 after initially quoting $90 for my 8330 a couple of months ago, but brand new 8330's were going for $50 with a contract at that point so i was glad to get more than that for a phone that was almost 2 years old. quick turnaround and good communication, no complaints here!

I agree with everyone else here with Ebay, you will get a LOT more money doing it that route and it takes only 5 minutes to list. If you don't have an ebay account you could either list it here on this marketplace or even craigslist! All take just a couple minutes and will get you more money.
On a side note, if you are still trying to sell at this point and your curve is for Verizon, PM me, I am looking for a back up to my S2, as I sold all my others.
That would be the easiest route
