Is there a way I could program the 8330 to clean up my Email in box ever 7 days and leave my test messages in there forever (or until I clear them manually) ?
doing an auto clean feature will delete all of the messages that are on the bb. you should be able to save the messages that you wanti to an app called saved meesages on the device, and then implement the auto delete feature.
check to make sure that you have the save messages icon. some models will have the saved messages in the applications folder, and some will have them hidden on the main app screen. check the app folder, and if not there, menu>main app screen>menu>show all>highlight saved messages>menue>unhide or uncheck hide
from there you can choose to save the message(s) that you want to save to the device mem.
to enable the auto delete go menu>messages folder>menu>options>general options>scroll down to auto delete>set to desired time
this will delete all messages, text,email, mms, at the set time.
