Ok, heres the deal.

I have a unlocked BB 9530 v4.0.75 (platform 4.0.0.94). I also am running the Desktop manager 4.7 and am running Vista home edition. I downloaded the BB 101 how-to-install and upgrade your OS (PDF File). Im not a PC guru but im literate and competent when it comes to navigating around and problem solving. I did the following steps:

1. Download Os you want to your pc and install.
Result = I downloaded : 9530AMEA_PBr5.0.0_rel674_PL4.2.0.179_A5.0.0.419_Be ll_Mobility_Inc.

2. After the installation wizard is done you will need go to the Apploader folder and delete the Vendor.xml file.

***This is where the problem is, there is no Apploader folder??????????? therefor i cant delete a file that is not there? Anyone have a clue?

try going to my computer, C drive, Program Files, Common Files, Research In Motion, and that is where your Apploader folder is located.
