I am running v5.0.0.405 on AT&T in Oregon

Is there a better OS for AT&T or should I stick with .405

***UPDATE***

So far several people on AT&T in the NW and other places in the US are using .423 and having no issues with one complaint about battery life (while others claim that battery life improved with the .423)

Thank you for all the info, I might give .423 a try

Any issues if .423 doesn't work so well and I need to switch back to .405 (will I be losing any information during the switches?) Thanks in advance!

Im on 405...296 gave me weird issues with being able to text from contact list.And im getting better battery time with 405

Has the sound through external speaker improve with newer OS's? On the stock rom the sound gets distorted sometimes at the highest volume and it's not as loud as 8900.

.295 was the ATT orig & .405 is the "new" official. I'm on .423 in Colorado and seems to be the best for me so far. Anxiously awaiting .435

.423 is not official for at&t so you have to go through a few extra processes to get it installed. Directions are sticky on the top of the forum.

Its easy. Follow sticky procedure. Unplug your internet before you open DM then follow the yellow brick road. For some reason internet access sometimes prevents DM from seeing an OS other that official
