I have MP3s on my phone and I'm trying to use one as a ringtone for specific contact. I try to select it but I am only given choices from regular ringtones.

I know how to use a MP3 as a general ringtone for all my incoming calls, but I'm trying to find out how to use one for one specific number.

From what I remember on my 8900 before I sold it, I believe you have to go to the address book contact and either select it and then hit the bb button and the option should be there...or just scroll to the entry and hit the bb button and the option should be there... Sorry I couldn't be more concrete!

If all else fails you can just change the extension to *.WAV and save it to the folder where your *.WAV ringtone files are.

you gotta hit the browse option at the tippy top, it will then let you go to your SD card, etc.
