Out of curiosity, anyone else get a 5.0 update on their VZW Curve today?
Today my sister's phone got an error code of JVM 102. I followed the general consensus from internet searches (JL_CMDR, remove troublesome COD). I then promptly got another error code (I don't remember which) and followed the same procedure. After that, I got error code 507 (screen of death!). At that point, I gave up trying to salvage it, and wiped it and reinstalled OS 4.5.
When she got home to sync her contacts, desktop manager said she needed to update, and LO and BEHOLD, it loaded an what looks like an OFFICIAL version of 5.0!!
I can't find any information on CB, RIM, or VZW websites, anyone have any info on this?
You sure it wasn't version 5.0 of the desktop manager? There is such a thing as that, but I am getting nothing in DM as far as an update for the actual device software.

Just like last time this was posted... did the computer you used have the leaked 5.0 installed on it? DM will show it as an option if you have the leaked version on the computer.
