OK, so I was sitting on my couch, watching TV, and surfing the forums here from my Curve 8330 (exciting evening, I know), and I thought it would be extremely cool if there was an IR section at the top of my curve, which could act as a TV remote control, or control any other device for that matter.

Maybe I am too much of a Crackberry head. If I could ditch all my remotes and use my Berry as my TV remote, I would never have to put it down.

Has anyone heard anything about this technology? Or why it would not work? I really wish it would come this year to new Blackberries.

Why do I remember a friend of mine had this on an old *** original Palm Pilot way back in the day? .....
