hello everyone im looking for the best case possible for my 9700...something that offers good protection and style. I am not interested in a holster. Could someone please help me find good companies or products for my phone?

    much appreciated!

No sure if you're intersted in these cases but, Ed Hardy makes a great case and very stylish. I love mine!

strb - where did you get your Ed Hardy? I did a google search online, but couldn't find any for the 9700.

    Thanks

Case mate smooth or seidio innocase, best protection and style: not making the phone a complete tank like the otterbox does. The epik resin is a plastic toy that is just as stylish as barbie

Would you recommned the soft resin skin or the crystal hard case?

i hate that cheap rubber feeling but would prefer to not have a solid case.

I tried PDAir leather case for my previous phone and it was pretty good, but never tried the silicone one.

I love my Case Mate Barely There Case for the 9700. You don't even realize it's on, and it also feels good in your hands.

Capdase Soft Jacket (harder than silicone skin but softer than Alumor) or Alumor Series (very solid and offer really good protection) are my favs. They're very stylish. Unfortunately, Capdase hasn't released any skins for Bold 9700. Rumor says sometime in early 2010 though. Soon as they're out I'm gonna get them

Here's sample for the soft jacket. And here's for the alumor.

I have the Epik and it fits snugly into the oem holster w/ it on. Got mine from a guy on CB. There's actually a giveaway on the blogs by him. They have a pattern on them but you can't really see it on the smoke/black one.

I think the resin is a good choice,
offers good protection for standard everyday use, I like it, but I prefer my commuter over it.

I have both the Casemate Barely There and Epik Resin. I prefer the resin case as it offers "more" protection. Fits much better than the OEM BB rubber case.

A vote for the Case-Mate Hybrid. Hard outside soft inner lining. Not as big or expensive as a comparable Otterbox.
