I got the 8230 back in June 2009, but all of sudden a couple of weeks ago it died. So, Verizon sent me a replacement phone; however, there does not appear to be a web browser on the replacement phone. When I go to advance options and then to applications, I think I see what may be a file for a browser, but regardless, no "globe" icon on the main menu or in any of the folders. How do I find/install the web browser?

Do a quick search of the forums. There are quite a few threads on this issue.

Resend your service books and it should reappear.

How do I resend the service books? When I open the service book it's empty and when I press the menu button the option available is "close".

I have a corp browser also with a different proxy, not sure why but my business has to push it to me or I can't get the internal web sites (if you care)
