I bought a sony mylo after cancelling our verizon service for the BB, but I'm still using the blackberry (8330) for the calender and notepad function. Could I buy a wifi adapter to connect to the mini usb and get online?

Not that I know of. Blackberries are very secure devices so RIM would have to allow drivers to be written to make it work with a usb wi-fi adapter. So I'm just assuming that it wouldn't work.
