sal said it was the same as the old one but bgr said theirs was snappier than the orig tour so it may have a faster one.
as of right now nobody knows because the specs havent been leaked
Its the same I believe as Tour 1. It might have seemed snapper from what BGR was saying probably becuase Tour 2 is running 5.0, and Tour 1 right now only has 4.7
I looked through the e-screens and everything was exactly the same as the Tour....but if anyone tells me how to find out what processor it has and the speed I will let you know right away the exact thing.

The BGR first impressions said it had an improved processor. That of the Storm2. Not sure exactly what that is, but its faster than the Storm 1 and Tour
would it have to have a new processor to run OpenGL? pretty sure they said the tour 1 wouldn't.. can't imagine they'd release a phone after the 8530 curve that couldn't
whats to say qualcomm doesnt have a higher clock speed version ready to debut in the T2

Sal (the member above you in this thread) already has the Tour 2, he has already said its the same as Tour 1
I'm pretty sure that i read somewhere that the actual hardware and clock speed is the same as the previous tour, and in the curve2 and storm2, but it's slightly different in its software architecture from the original tour. It's the same as the storm 2 and curve2 and I believe that they are both OpenGL capable, right?

Yeahhh I wouldn't take that with a grain of salt, they say the bold 9900 coming out march 2010 is going to run os 4.7 and have a 3.1 mp camera, and gets worse from there with other phone descriptions

no one has ever said the processor in Tour 2 was going to be any different. Even the members that have Tour 2 already say its the same as Tour 1. Tour 2 adds WIFI, trackpad, and 2gb onboard memory. nothing more, nothing less
The link on PDAdb.net indicates only 256MB of onboard memory, not 2GB...not questioning the comment on 2GB as I recall seeing this elsewhere, but does this call to question the accuracy of PDAdb.net's information. They qualify their data as preliminary specs.

the 2GB onboard memory is the device memory for media such as music, pics,videos.. ect... somethign that Tour 1 does not have... shown in this Pic of Tour 2 thanks to Sal who is a member on this site that took this picture of his Tour 2..
