lol, I bet they doubled the memory and made it support OpenGL. That's good enough for another year, right... Oh and probably enabled GPS as well.

GG RIM, thanks for listening to the people who buy your devices.. thanks for not implementating anything we care about. thanks for releasing a device that has minimal upgrades. thanks for making it look like the other devices. thanks for not revolutionizing it. thanks for giving us the same 5.0 that we've been running on forrrrrrrr........over a year now.

    thanks.

It just feels like RIM are moving side ways instead of forward. And it just seems the iterative changes aren't big enough to warrant a whole new device, if this had 3G or a better camera aswell then maybe people would be interested but one physical change and the rest are just minor appearance changes

They could just be bringing there models up to the current blackberry standard before actually letting on about new models in production.

It is likely that there will be some COMPLETLY new models out by the end of the year

Ah, RIM is just spitting out the same stuff over and over and over. They need to wake up because this is irritating. I can't believe they take pride in basically making one "new" device every year, and then modifying it just a tiny little bit (hardware only of coarse), wether it be size, keyboard, whatever and then adding it to each device series they have. This is really pathetic.

Wow. What can I say that hasn't already been said in this thread?
I totally agree with avt123 on this one. No new news, no cool updates. Just the same stuff over and over. They need to hire new designers/engineers/whatever to vamp up the lineup because this is just sad. I actually support RIM but there's less and less to stand behind with them. How can you stand up for a company that's sucking more and more?? I love my s2 (except for the motherf***ing send/end keys sticking) but RIM better have something amazing up their sleeve or else I'm outtie5000 with my next phone.

Who cares if it's not aimed at America and is for networks with little 3G coverage. That still doesn't change the fact that it is absolutely nothing special at all.

Fine, lets do this then. Tour and Tour 2. You tell me what's so special about the Tour 2 over the Tour. WiFi and a trackpad. That has revolutionary written all over it right? Give me a break.

I don't understand y'all. What does this have to do with anyone who doesn't view it as an upgrade? Do each of you feel every offering from this phone company must stimulate or excite you? Do you feel every product must be the greatest smart phone ever? WTF? It's like a forum full of children. They are a cell phone company! I know JRSSSSCCCCIVICyadayada and so forth is obsessed beyond rational discussion but does everyone feel every phone introduced must be amazing for their own personal needs? Did you freak when nokia introduced a clam shell you didn't want 6 years ago? Do you monitor Dell with intensity to attack all their laptops or desktops that are not the greatest on the market? What is wrong with y'all? Do you behave this way toward every company you have purchased a product from?
