So this morning when I woke up, my bottom set of keys wouldn't work, then all the letters on the keyboard started to scatter on the phone when I was trying to use BBM. Then, it became very pixelated and slow and now It's completely black screen. The phone still functions but the screen only shows black. What should I do? my carrier is telus. Should I ask for a replacement? If they want to fix it how long will that take?
I've tried battery pulls, and charging without the battery, everything. I don't download apps or anything like that, it's not piled up, no scratches, been in a hard leather case all it's life, no moisture damage, never ever been dropped. It's been treated flawless. I'm suspecting a hardware problem but I wanted to ask around before I chewed the ******* out of someone in telus's support group.
If you've done battery pulls, ect, with no luck, I would try to do a back up in desktop manager, then do a wipe and OS software upgrade. I'm on Sasktel and .419 works amazing, I would highly recommend it. If problems still persist then you probably have a hardware issue.
I agree with Ronindan, be nice if you contact Telus, they don't make the phone, RIM does. I also agree that you may want to try to reload the OS. Although I suspedt that is not the problem, it is worth a try.
i thought i had a good weekend going til this morning when my bb storm was totally "DEAD"!
i had charged it last night since 9 pm, soooooo its been charging for 12 hours. its a dead phone. wall charger and usb cable does nothing for it. i even tried it without the battery installed and i get no response at all. should i throw it against the wall and watch parts fly off it or .......?
