Instead of numbers. For example something like 1-800-DENTIST. There are phone numbers in my life -like my bank- that I only know this way, I don't know the numeric equivalent so how do I dial something like that on this phone? Thanks! - Tania

hold down the alt key while dialing the letters

To type the letters, hold down the alt key. When you press the phone button to dial, the Blackberry will convert the letters to numbers.
