I recently upgraded to 5.0.411 all apps work except quickpull lite and threaded messaging are combining texts from all different contacts. Anybody else have this problem?
I don't use quickpull, don't find any need to use an app that does something I can do in a couple key strokes (Alt + Right Shift + Del)... but my threaded messaging is working great... a suggestion that might fix the issue... open your text messages, highlight the top date, Menu, Delete Prior... then do a Battery Pull: Leave your device on, pull the battery for 20 seconds, put the battery back and wait for your device to boot up... not sure if that will fix the issue, put it will not hurt.
By the way, the OS version is actually OS 5.0.0.441.

As for the threaded problems, try turning off encryption in,options>security options>
Thanks for the responses. Yes the threaded messaging problem is solved by turning encryption off. Very happy with the new OS. Breathes new life to the "old" 8900. Wonder if the official OS will have new features. Or is the latest leak is the close to the final build.

A lot of speculation that RIM was set for an official release of OS 5.0 before January 1, 2010. I have a feeling they have missed the target date... if in fact that was a real target date.
.411 has been on my 8900 for a couple of weeks now and is working very well. I really use my cars built in bluetooth capabilities and with the previous leaked version (just prior to .411) the bluetooth was really messed up. It would drop calls, lock up the audio system in the car, etc. I have absolutely no problems with .411. My memory seems to have steadied out as well. It is running between 110 MB and 117 MB... which is the best it has done on any of the OS's I have had on the 8900.
