Hey guys something weird is happening. its been happening on both .420 and .423. Every time i try the three button reset the led light would come on for about 30 seconds, the clock would come up, flash white screen, and than just go back to the home screen (i would than get a "media card is inserted" message.) What could the problem be? it used to actually reset the phone and bring up the blackberry progress bar.
thats what i thought. i haven't been able to get it to fully reset using that method for the longest time. having to do it twice is still kinda weird though.
When you soft reset the led should turn red, eventually screen will go white, short clock, then the progress bar. I would pull your battery to get rid of what ever bug is causing the issue and then try the soft reset again. Remember a double soft reset is the same as a battery pull.
ive always had to do it twice no matter what OS im running, it worked smoother on my 9000 and the other blackberrys ive seen, but now i just use MeterBerry or QuickLaunch to do my resets anyways
