I can receive e-mails fine on my storm but I cannot send. Problem is as follows:

when setting up my e-mail account, all I can specify is e-mail server. By the description of it, it wants the incoming server.

In my case, my e-mail is *@somrek.net
Incoming server address: imap.1and1.com
outgoing: smtp.1and1.com

There is only ONE field to specify imap.1and1.com
when I try to send an e-mail, it tries to use the somrek.net domain name for the outgoing server. This of course fails...

Any suggestions?

when it's asking you for a mail server did you try mail.1and1.com or maybe just 1and1.com

see if that works.
