I am a newbie and when I purchased my BB, I signed up for visual voice mail from Verizon at $2.99 a month thinking I would try it out. For some reason, I cannot get the visual voice mail app to download (it may somehow be related to bb messenger outage). I did a search and found YouMail for free. Has anyone tried both or one of these? Not sure if I should cancel Visual Voice Mail.

YouMail works great, just as good as VVM but without the monthly fee.

Agreed. YouMail is awesome. The VZW visual voicemail app is so clunky and slows down the OS. The YouMail app is very light weight and easy to use and best of all it's FREE.

Ditch the VZW app and get Youmail.

I found it to be a bit much for me. The whole setup is just tiresome. I like the mindlessness of using the VVM on VZW
