I am on my third Storm 1.... two of the three worked perfectly aside from excessive dust under the screen. I am very happy with the Storm 1 aside from the dust issue.

I have been thinking about switching to either the Storm 2 (for more memory and wifi) if there is no dust issue with them. Also looking at the Tour for one handed typing....

So any replies?? Any Storm 2 users noticing alot of dust under your screen? Did they change the screen enough to stop the dust? I keep my phone in my pocket 99% of the time.

I haven't had any dust under my screen. I think it depends on the quality of the device you get

I have a little as well in a couple of the corners. It seems like this phone is definitely sealed better than the curve was.

I had tons of dust under the screen of my first Storm1. None at all with my second Storm1 and none with my Storm 2. Thankfully.

I have had a piece of the housing around the screen cracked and missing for a week and still no problems with dust. Could be too early to tell.

I didn't notice any until today. Some how a large piece of dust made its way to the center of my screen. I called verizon on the phone and was told that since the device is not defective they would not replace it. Is there anyway of actually getting this dust out without taking the screen apart?

I doubt it. Definitely don't use canned air to under battery door or around screen edges it will just blow more dust under. That sucks though. Sorry.

No dust with mine either. In ALL the storms I've owned I've never had a dust issue. I have seen a few with the issue so I know it can happen.
