I have a Tour with Sprint right now and I am looking to switch over to tmobile in January. Just wondering how the tmobile 3g coverage is in Cali, specifically bay area. I had tmobile for 2 years about 2 years ago and I liked it a lot. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I'm in Santa Monica (West LA) and I have great coverage even in my brick office building. Mostly full bars and 3G coverage. Sometimes drops to EDGE and 3 bars, but still good. One thing that is AWESOME about the Tmobile 9700 is UMA calling! I'm on WiFi at home and work, and this feature saves me so many minutes it's rediculous. Also, the UMA call quality is generally great, so if you don't have good signal in a building but have WiFi access, you can still make a clear call!
