I use the best of both worlds just got my 9700 upgraded from the bold 9000 and also have a iphone 3gs I enjoy both

I honestly think is a matter of choice ,I was a bb user for
3 years ,I went from the pearl to the storm 1 (wish I had
to many problems ) n now to the iPhone 3 gs , I must honestly
say I love my iPhone 3gs , don't take me wrong guys I still
got love for bb , they were my first smartphones , who knows
may b one day I'll switch back ..

I went from Pearl to Curve to Storm1 to iPhone 3gs to 9700. This iPhone was an very impressive device and that did everything and did it very well. But I missed multi tasking with streaming radio and having a keyboard. I text and type a lot. I know I cold have jailbroken for some multi tasking but I didn't want to. Jailbroke my touch and had a lot of issues.

Well they are completely different phones I had iphone 3GS for a while its a good device but for different reasons.

my 9700 is king , its awesome really pocketable with power to spare
and now I got mine un locked as of last night lol

Went from a Curve of 2 years to an iPhone 3GS for 4 months, back to a Blackberry Bold 9700 on Monday. The only thing the iphone has on the BB is the browser and the apps.

The iphone does not compare to Blackberry on so many levels it aint even funny...battery life being number one.

i still have my 32GB 3GS i love it death i got it launch day. But ever since i picked up my 9700 my sim has been stuck in it, and i can't seem to put it down.

i just jumped ship about 4 days ago, but sold my iphone a month ago, so memories are long gone! i can't say i have any reason to go back to the iphone i love this 9700 . BBM is possibly the best invention ever and is 10000000x better than ping on iPhone.

Yeah, I used mt friend's jailbroken iPhone today. I really liked it. I'm still young, so media and games and stuff still mean something to me. I understand, they cater to completely different demographics (but that's changing). I used the keyboard for the first time, after continuously ripping on it for 2 years, and I was actually really good at it.

But, the iPhone needs to step some things up.(BB too) It needs camera flash, HUGE improvement on battery life, multitasking as easy on blackberry, and a better from factor ( this one'll probly never happen).

Until then, I'll stay with my BB

I went got a 9700 to replace my iPhone 3G. No regrets. I've left the iPhone for other phones plenty of times but always went back. No 2nd thoughts yet. Don't think there will be either. This phone is just great.

went from a 8900 to a iphone 3g to a mytouch to a 8520 and today i just got a 9700. The thing I like about blackberry's are they are easy to use, with awesome keyboards and great battery life. I never really had the patience to surf the web on a mobile phone since it is considerably slower than a computer. Also having my phone die by 6pm is really annoying and thats why I went back to blackberry. Plus how many phones have fake leather on the back? lol

I too jumped from the iPhone 3GS to the 9700 just a few days ago. I was a Berry user for many years before the iPhone, wanted to see the hype, then after a few issues went straight back to Berry...no regrets whatsoever
(I will admit though like someone mentioned previously that viewing photos was very nice on iPhone but I love the physical keyboard on Blackberry the most and it's just a workhorse).

its a love and hate relationship with the iPhone .. but at then end of the day, i find myself using one

I had the 2g iphone unlocked/jailbroken and I sold it and picked up a motorola cliq. I hated the cliq it felt like a childs toy and was cheaply made and glitchy. So I returned the cliq and got my 9700. I honestly have never been more satisfied than I am right now with the bb. It performs all the functions I need done, and I LOVE the email on this phone!
