i have finally figured out how to input korean/chinese... I havent tried this in chinese but for korean you can also make you phone default language to be korean. so this will make your phone feel like its a korean phone. i have attached the link for my java files and also the screenshots. for the java file do not what so ever shrink it, if you do then your browser will not work... it is already shrunken ... also if you need the files i removed, the "removed files" is in the java... also i have attached the Shrink-a-os by lyricidal...

delete your java file from c drive-->programfiles-->common files-->research in motion-->shared... and after put the java file you just downloaded in replacement of that... then start up the loader and violla... if you dont see the options there then click on browse and look for the cjk file i attached


the link for the download will be up for only 90days or so (maybe less)

Thx... Not sure how I did it but will post on how I did it once I figure what files goes with what... Also this will work for .428 not sure of the .320 and the .321 (oneofakinds) hybrid.. Did not test on those.

It did shrink a little... if you don't want it shrunk... inside the Java folder there is a removed files folder... just move those files to the java folder
but is not that many files...

It looks like some resource files are missing for Chinese simplified... I have the version 4.7 Chinese input files, not sure if that will work though

things get messed up when using the chinese language files. But I'm too lazy to list the problems. haha

Try my way if you want Korean input. It works on my S2.
I haven't tried other languages, but I believe other languages also work.

viewing fonts are already built into the os. Just select them with the list of the app loader. Viewing and inputing are two separate things.

I've got Korean input working on the 9550 by making an alx with only two files from the 9520 .428 leak:
net_rim_bb_options_korean.cod
net_rim_tid_Korean.cod
I am running .320 and already have Korean rendering support enabled through the 9550 .320 CJK.ALX file so rather than create a hybrid, I created a separate alx file including only the two files named above from the 9520 .428 leak.
This doesn't include full Korean language support only text input support. I didn't want to create a hybrid or include a ton of files needed for full language support.
