    I don't believe that my current Blackberry, a 8330m has a SIM card that I can move from phone to phone. So if I were to win the contest for a Blackberry 9700 Bold, could I actually use it without going over to the Verizon dark side?

    no, 9700 is GSM so it would have to be AT&T or T-mobile

    you cant use it on verizon or sprint its a gsm phone at&t or t-mobile
