I just got an ipod touch (3rd generation) and it came with bluetooth!
Currently I use my Bold as a tether for my netbook and it works great. Up at the cottage with no wifi, i still get the net.
Now with the touch I would like to do the same. Touch has some great capabilities that the bold doesnt (better itunes, connected games, different apps, etc).
Can anyone help me tether my touch to my Bold to use the bold as a modem?
PS im on Rogers, so tethering is free with my data plan
When I had a Sprint Treo Pro, you could use the internet sharing to have BT share the connection with a laptop. The laptop used a dialup connection via bluetooth the the phone & it worked.
Does the touch allow DUN connections via BT? Mine is a holiday gift but I havent got it yet (she spilled the beans that I am getting one).
Tether your notebook with the blackberry, then if the iTouch can connect to ad-hoc connection you could set that up on your notebook and use connection shareing, or another way would be to buy a linksys wireless router, hook it to your computer with a cable, then connect to it with the iTouch. Would be a pain to setup but it would work.

I don't think you can use your BB as a wireless router. At most you can tether your berry and use the net on the PC
