The blog post states it's for devices 4.7 and up...but if I go to blackberry.com/messenger on my Bold running 4.6.0.297 it offers me the BBM .55 upgrade.
Any advice on whether I should install this or not? Thanks.

Last night I downloaded and installed it in my 9000 bold and my brothers 8120 without problems.
In your bold check for it in appworld and in the 8120 it doesn't appears in appworld but when u download it from BlackBerry Messenger it appears.
Differences:
- Chats look a little smaller
- When someone sends a picture, the picture preview is bigger
- Groups icons look a little smaller when changing them.
- Auto accept voice note option

One thing I noticed from the transistion from .33 to .55 is the time slots of the received and sent messages... Shows exactly what time you receieved and sent messages.

Hi when i send a pic the old one let me send in full size but this one automatically resize the pic in a smaller, how can i change to send the pics in full size ??
I have a BB 9700 V5.0., I have my spell check option...I am not experiencing any issues. It seems only individuals with older models of BB are experiencing issues.
I downloaded the .55 from app world, and although it said it was downloaded, but the icon disappeared. I did a battery pull to no avail. I had to reload my old version. Is there a trick to the download that I missed? I have a 8330 curve.
I just started a group contact list. When i am talking to someone directly on messenger the time is correct , when using the group the time is off by an hour or so. Anyone know any ideas to fix it ?
