The SMS bug of one coonvo is still present here.

here is the sms compose cod from .405 which works fine

net_rim_bb_sms_compose.cod

You will need BBSAK, to remove "net_rim_bb_sms_compose.cod"

BBSAK 1.5: BBSAKv1.5_Installer.msi

and replace it with the one I uploaded.

The other bug i found is, if you have arabic text selected, when you are inputting a new SMS number, the "9's" come out as "6's"

I have no solution to this, except that you must switch to english when inputting the number.

This is annoying. I hope RIM knows about these issues.

You want to download this.

Then read the device.

Uninstall the .cod "net_rim_bb_sms_compose.cod," and reinstall the appropriate one for your device.

Basically all your SMS texts come in under one of the SMS convos. You can not create a new convo, it will just open up the old one. I will make a video demonstrating soon. reinstalling the faulty .cod to play around with it.

ive tried a different simcard. No avail. I tried different settings, packet switched, validity 1 week, no delivery report, ermes, UCS2... etc..

All same result.

bbsak says cod deleted,,but it s still on the phone,,,than it says cod installed but the sms composer cod on the phone is v .421 and the problem remains,,,any ideas? by the way i m using bbsak 1,7.

Thats the one I used.

Read system (make sure theres no password lock).. then delete the .cod.. it should say cod successfully removed... The phone would restart.. Then reinstall it and it should say it was successful and reboot the phone.

after a reboot this sms bug was gone by itself.

been running this .421 for about 17hr. so far no bugs. Improved battery life as well as browser speed.

.421 is lot better - they fixed the browser bug where it would say its only a wifi site - and broswer is a lot faster loading websites

Anyone else getting a "net_rim_bb_phone_app (54) is not responding. Process terminated" error? I get this upon boot up but doesn't really affect anything. It just bugs me to see it...

@archy, switch off mobile network and reboot, it should not give the error again, start mobile connection and reboot and ur good to go

I'm on .415. The batteries been great for me in comparison to .405, probably the same as the stock OS. How is .421? worth upgrading too?
