Skins are a rubber protective cover for blackberry's. You can get different colors or styles. I haven't seen to many people out there with skins on the 8700 series. I think its more for the Pearl but wanted to see how many out there use them?

I get that blame frequently... of course it's my wife lashing out at me. Of course, she didn't mind when I ordered her the pink crystal case for her Pearl.
IMO, skins make the device more cumbersome. They protect the device well, but its a enough to handle without that "extra layer" and yes, ZEN theme is the only theme.
Shield Zone has that clear super thin protective covering that can be taken on and off, cleaned and reused and will never scratch. Looks like amazing stuff. You can get it just as a screen protector or cover entire phone except keyboard. Lasts forever. Check it out, I'm waiting for mine to arrive.

My wife has used one of the invisible shields on her SideKick and she loved it. It looked really good and did not scratch at all. She is really rough on her phones.

I use the rubberized OEM skins but none of those (imo) cheap lookin' things off ebay although some look really sharp ..with all the crazy prints on them and ya screen protector for sure.
