Hi, I'm new to BBs of course, and I'm wondering if I power off my phone for whatever reason, and someone sends me an email, sms or IM will I receive it when I power the phone on?
I'm pretty sure email won't be a problem, but what about the others?
    Thanks,
    These are great forums!

Yes you will. A couple things to note.

With email, it will show the time your bb received it (when they started coming in as you turned your BB on) in the header, but within the email, it will show the actually time the server received it.

With text messaging (at least for me), it shows the time the berry received it at all times. It's weird as my iPhone shows the time that it hit AT&T to hit my phone.

it'll be almost instant when you turn your blackberry back on. you'll notice the data in/out symbols going on in the upperright corner, meaning your blackberry is pulling down any sms, mms, and emails.
