I would like to say that I am now a proud owner of a BlackBerry Bold 9700. I had a sprint and a Tour then I got ATT and was using my TOUR on ATT and now I finally got it! It is so smooth and fast I love it.

it is a nice phone better than the 8900. the 8900 is weak compared to the bold 9700

Quoted for truth! I know wifi is faster, but i rarely use it, 3g works perfectly for me, i dont expect performance of my laptop- its a phone and for what i do, its perfect

I just ordered an AT&T 9700 too, ditching my Tour and Sprint.

I've been going crazy not having wi-fi since I have to visit places with no cell signal whatsoever, and I'm excited about the trackpad and better cpu/battery life + a decent 5.0 OS.

Also when I moved back where I am now there was no 3G coverage from anyone but Sprint, but that's changed. Hopefully it's like the town I moved from, I managed 3.2mbit/s on my iPhone 3G in a rather rural area that had 3G, with Sprint right now I only get ~500kbit/s. That and I know AT&T had a stronger signal at my home then anyone else when I moved in, so possibly no more dropped calls in the basement. My fingers are crossed.
