tried so many times but Google maps are not working on 5.0, it worked on .61 and .65. Tried Hybrid 7.11 as well but no luck... just only for this application I just stuck on 4.7... I tried searching this forum but no answer found ...

Please if anyone can tell me how to get it work on 5.0? My tour is BELL Branded unlocked...

My father has .230 on his tour and google maps works fine. The thing i have discovered with my carrier VZ is that the GPS navigation does not work as it should be. I think it is restricted, however, bberry maps gps nav does work.

I just installed hybrid 7.11 on mine 1 hour ago and i have google maps / gps / latitude working 100% from the start... have you tried reloading the os a second time?

Are you using the latest version of Google Maps, 3.2.1? It works flawlessly with 5.0.

i'm on VZW running 5.0.0.230 and i have google maps version 3.0.2 installed and it works perfectly. make sure to set gps to location and not e911 only there should be what look like parentheses on the right hand side of the gps marker on the home screen

I've been running 5.0 and haven't had a single problem with Google Maps.

try setting all the permissions to allow, you may have the access to the gps set to disallow

Sir where can I find this setting? In GPS Settings not e911 option found...
Reload 5.0 with Hybrid7.11 but still no suceess, Permission set Allowed to ala as well ...
