I hooked up my 8310 to DM to make a back up and suddenly said there was a newer version available 4.5.0.180 so I started to upgrade. All went well except when I was almost to the end. Suddenly I got this message that the connection was broken en that it could not reconnect. After that my 8310 gave this 507 error message. Battery pull didn't help, so I figured I would just start the whole procedure again. Is this the right way to go?

    its processing now..

Works fine for me so far. I don't see any real changes but if it stops the memory leak I had, I'll be happy. I know, I know, first post. I've been lurking for too long.

Well installed this last night on my work curve and so far no problems.

Seems like a good solid OS. No obvious issue or new features.

So far no significant memory leak.

Will keep using and report any issues.

From the same build for the 8100 I can tell you it should have a better signal, and faster browser.

Nice, snappy OS. I do notice some better signal strength at my work since the upgrade. Sweet OS, file free was @ 32mb after wipe and install. 24mb now with my apps installed.

Unless it's EastAsian, no, and then it would only be language content.

I think I may go back to .174 my signal is consistently worse for some reason which is opposite what some have stated. Go figure.

i am currently on the same os and was going to update for sole reason of better signal strength

anyone else switching from .174 to .181?

seems to be a stable OS, better memory management, better browser, faster boot time. signal strength appears to be the same.
