Any 9700's use RestartMe over Quick Pull?

    BlackBerry App World - RestartMe

I have had problems with quick pull in the past. Any RestartMe users out there?

    Thanks...

When I had my 8520 I used both. Both had problems. But I had a ton more problems with Q.P.

RestartMe is a lot better, had slight problems. Usually worked well tho

Some of the reviews are pretty bad and it says not compatible with some 5.0 OS's. Did you try it yet? Be the 9700 guinea pig!!!

I think it's ridiculous that these programs have to exist in the first place. Sure things crash, but Rim has been supposedly improving the same phone for how long now. The 9700 shouldn't need this app. Heck, the 9000 shouldn't need this app.

It does not work on my Curve 8530 with OS 5. Just as described above - It hangs at the "bye!" screen. This is the same place that QuickPull hangs too. Apparently there is a problem with the request to reboot on the new OS. Oh well - I really don't need to reboot with my new curve as often as I have needed with other phones so that is good - but still. I like knowing that I can reboot easily while I am out and about if my phone is a little sluggish.

^^Yep, same for me. Quick Pull works great on my 9700 and it worked great on my 8100 when I had it, too.

This. I do this every time and wonder why these questions keep popping up.

I'd rather save the tiny bit of app space and just pull the battery. It's not like its a big chore
